Which Version should I Install?
From FundaWiki
Different users has different needs, so the version of fundanemt you install also depends on your needs. Normally Fundanemt comes in two versions - The official release and the CVS version. Besides this some minor releases can appear. These are normally bugfix releases if a security hole or serious bug is discovered.
It is in general always the official release you should use because this is the version that the developers find to be in a state where things are stable and everything is usable.
The CVS version is only for those of you who would like to see how the development comes along or maybe even if you have somthing to add to the code. It is NEVER ment to be used in production because things can change drastically in CVS from one day to the next. This means that a system set up one day can maybe use a completly new database structure, design or authentication mechanism the next day. You are always welcome to install the CVS version an do a bit of bughunting and come up with new ideas, BUT the developer team will not spend time on helping you if use a CVS version in production.
